Healing Balm
Ingredients: 3 oz almond oil
2 tsp pure honey
½ oz beeswax
1 tsp tea tree oil
Preparation:
In sauce pan on oven top melt all of the ingredients together stirring until cooled.

Callus Exfoliation
Ingredients:
1 C. brown sugar rose water 1/2 C. petroleum jelly
Preparation:
Take brown sugar and add just enough rose water to moisten the sugar. Add the sugar to the petroleum jelly mix until smooth. Rub onto calluses on hands, knees and feet. Wash off.

ALMOND-BUTTER HAND SOFTENER
Ingredients: 1 T. almond oil 1 C. butter
Preparation: Mix well. Before bed, massage mixture into hands, then cover with white cotton gloves. Wear all night while sleeping.

Ingredients: 8 tsp. grapeseed oil 6 drops jasmine oil 2 drops tea tree oil 2 drops neroli oil
Preparation: This is a spicy-scented massage oil. Blend ingredients well. Pour into a small bottle and seal well. Warm up oil before doing any massage.

4 drops jasmine oil 2 drops orange oil

Protecting Babies Skin
When our children where babies they had an awful time with red irritated skin. We had a pediatrician tells us that it my sound weird but the best cure for dry skin in the winter time for your baby and toddler, is Cooking Lard. The Pedia- trician would always repeat himself and tell us get out the Crisco. When we finally did listen it worked great, he was right.

Hot Oil Treatment
1 tsp. soy bean oil
2 tsp. castor oil
Few drops fragrance oil (optional)
Combine ingredients and warm on low heat. Massage mixture into the scalp and hair. Wrap hair in a hot towel for 15 minutes. Shampoo and rinse out.

Remove & Moisturize
1/2 cup paraffin
1 cup mineral oil
1/2 cup water
2 tbs. alum
Slowly heat paraffin with the oil in a double boiler. In a separate saucepan, heat the water until it simmers, then dissolve the alum in it. Let cook, then add to the warm mineral oil and paraffin mixture. As everything cools, the paraffin will rise to the top. Drain off the water. The water residue is your makeup remover.

Dry Nails?
Ingredients:
2 tsp. gelatin
1/2 glass fruit juice
Olive Oil
Preparation: Mix together, drink this at once and repeat daily for at least 6 weeks. Regularly, soak finger nails in a bowl of warmed olive oil for about 5 min. Dry with soft towel, gently pushing back cuticles.
