Ingredients:

4 Eggs

4 spoonful’s of sifted flour

¼  pound of sugar

Milk

Dash of Nutmeg

Pinch of Salt

Sprinkle of powdered suger

Preparation:

First get your apples ready cut out the core, and cut the rest in round slices about the thickness of a quarter. Take four eggs and beat them very well, add four spoonful’s of sifted flour, a little milk, about a quarter of a pound of sugar, a little nutmeg and salt, add apples mix well. Form little balls and flatten them on a floured plate or counter; do not make it to thin, if you do it will not the mix will not stick to the apples;  have cooking oil ready in a deep pan; drop flattened apple disks in while the oil is very hot; you must keep  turning them, do not over brown; when you take them out lay them on a dish with paper towel; have a little white wine, butter and sugar for the sauce; sprinkle a little powdered sugar over them, and serve them up.
